What a strange experience last night.

I parked the car on the side of a street, all of a sudden a woman starts frantically pounding on my car window.  I rolled my windows down and she says that she was just mugged by some thug on a motorcycle. 

I was thinking of chasing after the guy, but then I think he was long gone...So I can only help her by calling the cops.  It was actually pretty amazing that the cops actually showed up in just a few minutes..Kinda put a bit of faith back into Taiwan cops.

Anyways, I even tried to help her by getting her to call credit card companies to report the theft. 

So she went with the cops to report the crime and I went home. 

After about a hour or so.  The cops call me, he said that the robbery was not real.  She had a fight with her boyfriend and he pretended to be a robber to try to scare her.  So it was all a matter of domestic dispute. 

Can u believe this?  What kinda world are we living in nowadays when ur own boyfriend tries to scare his girlfriend by stealing her bag in the street.  What a crazy world we live in now.
